Featured in Chicago Style Weddings 2025, Gold Noise is a female-owned small business made up of friendly, charismatic, professional wedding and event DJs with a five-star reputation on Yelp and Google, known for creating a non-cheesy, yet fun and approachable vibe. We love collaborating to ensure your music reflects your personal taste! We also now offer a karaoke add-on for cool alternative weddings that want dancing and singing.

We're proud to be on the preferred vendor list at venues like Chicago Winery, Walden,
The Lytle House, Loft Lucia, The Joinery, Revolution Brewing, Artifact Events, and many more. Cumulatively we've worked at over 100 Chicago venues!

DJ Jena

Female DJ Jena Nixon is an expert through and through. She has over fifteen years of experience DJing weddings and events, and she's been a resident DJ at Beauty Bar, Three Dots and a Dash, and other popular spots around town.

She even recently played an opening set at United Center before Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan took the stage! She also went on tour with American Eagle / Aerie as their official DJ!

Some local landmarks she's worked at include the Museum of Contemporary Art, Adler Planetarium, Chicago History Museum, Steppenwolf Theater, The Museum of Science and Industry, Navy Pier, The Field Museum-- the list goes on and on!

Her clients have raved about her on Yelp and Google Reviews. She also now offers karaoke add-on for clients who love a good singalong. <3

DJ Dominic

Born and raised in Chicago, Dominic’s early love for House Music sparked his DJ career, which has since spanned across all music genres.

Since 2010 he's been a staple in Boystown, with his residency at one of the most popular spots in the neighborhood, Sidetrack Video Bar, where you can check him out live! Now he's bringing that same feel-good energy to weddings and events!

With an audio tech degree in hand, he's a true sound pro. Nominated as the next Gold Noise DJ by a top wedding photographer who’s been a longtime fan of his, we’re thrilled to have him on our team!

Magical Muse

DJ Landon

As an event organizer and stage manager at the Chicago Magic Lounge, and previously Cabaret Zazou, Landon’s passion for music, extensive event background, and vibrant energy made her a natural fit for the Gold Noise team.

Trained by DJ Jena Nixon, Landon gained expertise in audio setup, wedding timeline coordination, DJing, MCing, and curating the perfect dance party flow. She started as Jena’s assistant, before confidently stepping into the spotlight several years ago to lead her own events. She's shined ever since!

Her ability to keep the dance floor (or karaoke party) energized all night long has earned her rave reviews, highlighting her talent for crafting an unforgettable vibe at every event!

Rates start at $2275, and may increase depending on specific DJ, and if there's any travel time or overtime.
