DJ Jena
With 15 years of experience DJing in Chicago at over 100 venues, Jena Nixon knows exactly how to create a packed dance floor.
She’s been a resident DJ at iconic Chicago spots like Beauty Bar and Three Dots and a Dash, opened for major acts — including Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan at United Center— and toured nationally as the official DJ for American Eagle / Aerie.
Couples consistently rave about her professionalism, organization, and ability to keep the party flowing — earning her a perfect five-star rating on Yelp and Google and a feature in Chicago Style Weddings.
Jena has also performed at many of Chicago’s landmarks, including the Adler Planetarium, Museum of Contemporary Art, Steppenwolf Theatre, Navy Pier, The Field Museum, and the Museum of Science and Industry.

Since 2010 Dominic has been a popular staple in Boystown, with his residency at one of the most popular spots in the neighborhood, Sidetrack Video Bar, where you can check him out live! Now he's bringing that same feel-good energy to weddings and events! With an audio tech degree in hand, he's a true sound pro.
He was nominated as the next Gold Noise DJ by a top wedding photographer who’s been a longtime fan of his. Since then he's been earning fantastic reviews from clients and Chicago wedding venues who say he nails the vibe, and manages the timeline with true professionalism. We’re thrilled to have him on our team!

DJ Landon
As an event organizer and stage manager at the Chicago Magic Lounge, Landon’s passion for music, extensive event background, and vibrant energy made her a natural fit for the Gold Noise team.
Trained by DJ Jena, Landon gained expertise in audio setup, wedding timeline coordination, DJing, MCing, and curating the perfect dance party flow. She started as Jena’s assistant, before confidently stepping into the spotlight several years ago to lead her own events.
Her ability to keep the dance floor (or karaoke party) energized all night long has earned her rave reviews, highlighting her talent for crafting an unforgettable vibe at every event!

Includes all necessary sound equipment, and six hours of performance time from a DJ who knows how to properly MC weddings and manage the flow of your timeline. Rates vary depending on specific DJ, and if there's any travel time or overtime.

About Us: Featured in Chicago Style Weddings, and holding a five-star rating on Yelp and Google, Gold Noise is a female-owned small business made up of five professional wedding DJs. Intentionally kept small because we believe in quality over quantity. Every couple gets thoughtful planning, polished MC skills, and a custom playlist (and do not play list) that reflects their taste. On the day of the wedding, we coordinate with your other vendors to manage the timing and flow, so you can relax and enjoy spending time with your guests. Cumulatively we’ve worked at over 100 Chicago venues, and are on the preferred DJs list at Chicago Winery, Walden, Loft Lucia, Lytle House, Artifact Events, Ravenswood Event Center, and many more. Some of our DJs now offer a karaoke add-on for couples who want to dance and sing their hearts out!
